Sr. DevOps Engineer

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing Digital Services firm, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies and cybersecurity. As part of an agile team, you will contribute to delivering mission-critical health IT solutions across a range of government and commercial projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud using infrastructure as code principles.

• Expertise in AWS, with a solid understanding of Linux and Windows systems.

• Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible and Jenkins, and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.

• Drive automation to ensure scalable, consistent, and fault-tolerant delivery of infrastructure and applications.

• Provide support for production issues and engage in troubleshooting as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in shell scripting and familiarity with Linux systems (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux) and Windows systems.

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Jenkins), Terraform, and Kubernetes.

• Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, demonstrating agility and a commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certification or readiness to obtain certification within 60 days of joining.

• Demonstrable contributions to open-source projects or public GitHub repositories.

• Experience in Agile tools like Jira, Git, and Confluence.
