Join our collaborative Infrastructure Platform team as a Network Engineer and play a key role in building innovative solutions for Credit Unions and their members. You'll work closely with software engineers and external clients, designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures that meet business needs and SLAs.
Our Infrastructure Platform team is a group of amazing Cloud Engineers, Network Engineers and Software Engineers that build the critical infrastructure that enables Clutch’s services to successfully support our clients needs. We provide cloud infrastructure related services to support development teams and business operations, with built-in security, focusing on reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems. We also love automating workflows and optimizing performance.
Design and implement: Develop robust network architectures that ensure seamless connectivity, optimal performance, and robust security.
Collaborate: Partner with company leadership, internal engineering teams, and external clients to identify network requirements and resolve any challenges.
Maintain and optimize: Proactively manage the network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and implementing best practices for maintenance and upgrades accordingly to our context.
Support and educate: Provide guidance and assistance to colleagues and clients on how to effectively utilize the network resources. Create, update, and maintain documentation of environment, configurations and operational procedures.
Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP, ICMP), routing (firewall, NAT, proxy, load balancing), services (DNS, DHCP), and debugging tools (Wireshark, curl, dig).
Extensive knowledge of WAN technologies, including VPN/IPsec, SD-WAN, and BGP.
Exposure to commercial-grade network operating systems and appliances (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Sonicwall)
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable leading technical discussions and engaging directly with US-based clients.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment using tools like GitHub.
Have a business centric mindset, understands the “why and how” before designing and executing changes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network issues.
A passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest networking technologies and industry trends, being able to apply them accordingly to our context.
