Job Overview
Cloudscaler is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS) to join our team in London, UK. As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will work with customers across the UK, with travel to customer sites required, up to 3 days per week. The role requires an onsite presence of 1 day every 2 weeks in Bath. The salary range is £45,000 - £70,000, with a discretionary bonus scheme available.
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, package, deploy, and operate AWS platforms
Automate the build of infrastructure resources within AWS
Package services into AMIs, Docker containers, or Serverless deployments
Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Deliver platform improvements and new tools
Build AWS resources using infrastructure as code using Terraform (or CloudFormation) and Packer
Deliver within an agile environment
Administer Kubernetes
Required Qualifications
Experience with AWS Landing Zone
Experience building AWS resources using Terraform or other IaC
Competent in Python for Lambda development
Understanding of the Shared Responsibility model
Knowledge of platform engineering concepts
Experience with AWS security services
Deep understanding of building, testing, packaging, releasing, and deploying code and services within a team-based environment
Kubernetes experience
