Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join our team. This is a remote, full-time position where you will work on building and maintaining modern cloud and DevOps solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI


• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform / Terragrunt – from green-field to brown-field


• Run & tune Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS, GKE, AKS or on-prem)


• Introduce GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or FluxCD


• Build an end-to-end observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry)


• Operate distributed services such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis inside Kubernetes


• Work hand-in-hand with our clients – from architecture talks to incident debugging


• Take regular hack-time for our own startup side-projects you’ll help shape


• Keep us current with the CNCF landscape – we love trying out new projects

Required Qualifications

• Passion for cloud technologies & automation; you live the “Everything-as-Code” ethos


• First hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)


• Solid skills with Git, Linux and the shell


• Curiosity & hunger to learn: you experiment with new tools and share knowledge openly


• Team spirit, clear communication (German or English) and the courage to ask questions
