Cloud Network Engineer

Job Overview

As a Cloud Network Engineer at SysEleven, you will be the driving force behind the development and implementation of network components across all levels of our OpenStack-based Syseleven-Stack. You will build an efficient and stable network infrastructure and implement new features. Through your expertise in Cloud Network Engineering, you will contribute to enhancing technical adaptability, efficiency, problem-solving skills, and technical excellence within your team and across the entire company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and development of network components, including planning and implementation of new network features, optimization of existing components, and ensuring a stable and efficient network infrastructure
• Troubleshooting network issues, analyzing and resolving problems to ensure seamless communication and connectivity
• Development and implementation of automation solutions for network configurations and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible, GitLab, and Terraform
• Improvement of monitoring to ensure effective network oversight
• Collaboration with other teams and departments to optimize the network infrastructure and ensure smooth integration

Required Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the Linux Networking Stack
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), particularly Open Virtual Network (OVN) and Open vSwitch (OVS)
• Good knowledge of OpenStack, especially Neutron
• Familiarity with network protocols such as Anycast, BGP, eVPN, VXLAN, and IPSec
• Experience in configuration management with Ansible
• Fluent English skills and willingness to participate in on-call duty as part of the 2nd Level
