Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer to join our development team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver computing services in cloud-based environments such as Oracle. Develop and support solutions to automate the creation, management, or destruction of infrastructure; actively code automations and features.
Provide easy-to-consume services for software development teams, helping with the use of infrastructure solutions and collaborating on their implementation.
Accelerate application development by creating infrastructure service patterns that can be consumed in self-service, resilient, reliable, and aligned with Prudential standards.
Collaborate with product owners to understand needs and define feature stories, with tech leads to define technical design, and with other team members to understand the end-to-end system and deliver robust solutions that generate business impact and support company objectives.
Automate unit and integration tests, solve problems, and add value through automation.
Develop corporate platform standards based on cost, capacity, and performance requirements to generate business value; document solutions to support the adoption of developed solutions.
Bring practical understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, identify opportunities to contribute to the team, and guide others, as well as incorporating learning and innovation into daily work.
Work on complex problems where situation or data analysis requires in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Apply infrastructure fundamentals in Linux/Unix operating systems, database, networking, TCP/IP, and common communication protocols.
Utilize programming languages such as Python, Shell/PowerShell, Groovy, modern languages, and frameworks like Terraform.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in related fields.
Diversity of ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives for the benefit of the organization.

Linux/UNIX Operating Systems: file permissions, network configuration, services, and process manipulation.
Best practices in infrastructure and cloud security, including DevSecOps.
DevOps tools and practices: knowledge of DevOps automation tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): fundamentals of development and design, including coding patterns.
Cloud Computing: knowledge and experience with Oracle Cloud.
Fluency in English and Portuguese.
Cloud service consumption.
Disaster Recovery (Disaster Recovery) and High Availability (High Availability).
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in the financial or insurance sector is a plus, but not required.
