Unisongroup is seeking a Cloud Engineer (GCP) to design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves managing GKE clusters, deploying containerized applications, and working with GCP Dataproc for distributed data-processing workloads.

🎯 The Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of cloud infrastructure on GCP, including GKE clusters, containerized applications, and Dataproc clusters. You will also develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configure various GCP services.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Manage and support GKE clusters, including deployments, scaling, networking, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Work with GCP Dataproc to provision and manage clusters for distributed data-processing workloads.
• Support Spark/Hadoop workloads running on Dataproc.
• Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated GCP resource provisioning.
• Create reusable Terraform configurations/modules and manage infrastructure changes through version control.
• Configure and manage GCP services including VPC, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Implement GCP networking, security, IAM policies, service accounts, and access controls.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and application issues.
• Implement cloud security, scalability, availability, and performance best practices.
• Automate operational activities using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Work closely with DevOps, Data Engineering, Application Development, and Architecture teams.
• Participate in production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.

📌 Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps, with significant hands-on experience in GCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with GKE.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Dataproc.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with GCP networking – VPC, subnets, firewall rules.
• Experience with GCP IAM and service accounts.
• Experience with Cloud monitoring and logging.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Experience with production cloud support and troubleshooting.
