Quindar builds modern, cloud-native satellite mission operations software with a simple mission: to operate satellites like servers. Our platform replaces fragmented, legacy ground systems with an integrated, automation-driven approach that brings modern software velocity to space operations.
We're a small, fast-moving team with deep aerospace and software roots, energized by big challenges and motivated by the impact we have on real missions in this next chapter of the Space Age. If you want to work with sharp, ambitious people who push boundaries, move quickly, and are excited to take space operations to the next level, Quindar is the place to do it.
Quindar is building and operating classified environments to support mission partners across the U.S. government. We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to own the systems that keep those environments secure, reliable, and ready for mission operations.
This is a broad, hands-on infrastructure role. You will administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server systems, Kubernetes environments, virtualized infrastructure, storage, backups, and core network services. Working closely with our ISSM, Facility Security Officer, and engineering teams, you will implement security controls, support accreditation activities, and maintain compliant operations in classified spaces.
Classified infrastructure is secure, reliable, documented, and ready to support mission operations. Servers and Kubernetes environments are consistently configured, patched, monitored, and maintained. Virtualization, storage, and backup systems meet workload needs, with recovery procedures that have been tested. Security findings are addressed promptly, and compliance evidence is easy to produce. Engineers and mission operators can depend on the infrastructure and get fast help when issues arise.
We work in a cutting-edge industry, and you'll be part of a small team with a direct impact on our customers' space missions. We take work-life balance seriously. We require employees to take 15 days off, provide unlimited PTO, and observe most U.S. federal holidays. We provide quarterly health and wellness benefits, comprehensive health insurance with 100% coverage for employees, and a 4% 401(k) match. Each year, we gather for a four-day company offsite. Previous locations include San Francisco, Nashville, Denver, Santa Fe, New Orleans, San Diego, Bozeman, and New York City. Our culture and company are evolving. You'll help shape what comes next.
