Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's transformation into a mobility company once in a century. Inspired by our history of invention for others, our mission is to expand the definition of mobility and how it contributes to society, challenging conventional wisdom with human-centered innovation.
Toyota is redefining the meaning of mobility. We move people, things, information, and energy, continuously challenging the common sense of mobility. Woven City serves as a test course for creating and testing various forms of mobility, with the concept of a human-centered city, a city for experimentation, and an unfinished city, aiming for mass production of happiness.
Woven City brings together diverse individuals who share our vision for future mobility. Inventors, residents, and visitors collaborate in a city-shaped test course where human, mobility, and social infrastructure are interconnected, living while testing various products and services.
Our team is responsible for planning, designing, maintaining, and operating the digital and physical urban infrastructure that supports the entire Toyota Woven City, leading the creation of an environment where Inventors and residents can conduct demonstrations and live with peace of mind and safety.
For the position of implementing urban infrastructure facilities required for demonstrations in Toyota Woven City, you will be responsible for driving everything from strategic planning to service planning and execution. We are seeking talent who, as a mobility company working at the city level, is passionate about addressing social issues and can envision innovations and solution roadmaps that will become the 'new normal' of the future.
You will be expected to logically propose imaginative solutions for the infrastructure needed for test courses to solve problems. Toyota Woven City is a place where we conduct necessary demonstration experiments for the social systematization of mobility in collaboration with various companies. This position involves understanding each company's demonstration objectives and business requirements, proposing the necessary IT environment and system configuration, and translating these into requirements and specifications for development teams to support demonstration experiments from a technical perspective.
