Site Reliability Engineer Associate for Top Ten US Insurance Carrier

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Capgemini for our top 10 Insurance client, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of software systems. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to design, deploy, and maintain robust and efficient cloud-based solutions. Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer.

Location: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, India, or Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud-based architectures
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of systems and applications
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and performance
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations to maintain system uptime
• Conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in site reliability engineering or related role
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Experience with monitoring and log management tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Excellent scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of networking and security principles in cloud environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide root cause analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
