Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Deployments and Observability team at Bolt. As an SRE, you will work on unique product challenges including complex algorithms for demand prediction, optimal real-time pricing, routing, fraud detection, and distributed systems. You will help ensure our backend services run smoothly and optimize our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation and implement internal systems
• Participate in architectural discussions to select the best long-term solutions
• Implement new systems and tune existing ones for better reliability, availability, scalability, or cost reduction
• Troubleshoot production system issues
• Collaborate with other reliability and software development engineers
• Participate in on-call activities for critical infrastructure components

Required Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of pipelines and observability solutions
• Solid understanding of Linux troubleshooting, including networking, filesystems, security, and the kernel
• Solid understanding of large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2 and EKS
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Team player with excellent communication skills
