DevOps Platform Engineer

As the only company focused 100% on Java, Azul is building the Java platform for the modern cloud enterprise.

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our distributed team of YAML enjoyers on a mission to introduce best practices from the DevOps and SRE fields to all Azul products.

We are fully responsible for our product building and distribution pipelines (shipping more than 1000 binaries to our customers worldwide with each release) as well as our SaaS products (cloud based solution built and maintained using „everything as a code“ approach).


 

What You’ll Bring (aka Experience, Skills Education)

 

    • Enjoy delivering at scale as a team rather than an individual contributor
    • Have a strong sense of ownership which you simply can’t ignore
    • Often find yourself actively listening to other engineers and engineering teams
    • Keep asking questions and are naturally backing up / verifying your decisions with data points
    • Are actively looking for your work and also are making sure your decisions have a company-wide impact
    • Have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar role

    • Orchestration - Kubernetes
    • Scripting – Bash, Python, Go
