D2 Technical Services is a company that provides technical consulting and staffing services. We are looking for a highly skilled AWS System Administrator to join our team.

🎯 The Role

As an AWS System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing AWS resources, monitoring system performance, maintaining system security, automating tasks, implementing and maintaining backups, staying current with AWS technologies, and collaborating with teams.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Manage AWS resources: Provision, configure, and manage AWS resources such as EC2 instances, EBS volumes, VPCs, security groups, and IAM roles.
• Monitor system performance: Monitor system performance metrics, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain system security: Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Automate tasks: Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and AWS tools (e.g., AWS CLI, CloudFormation).
• Implement and maintain backups: Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for AWS resources.
• Stay current with AWS technologies: Keep abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

📌 Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science)
• DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification
• Active TS/SCI Clearance (must obtain a CI Poly within 6 months of start date) (US Citizenship required)

This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
