Job Overview

Join Arista Networks as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for our CloudVision as a Service (CVaaS) team. This is a remote work opportunity based in Santa Clara, CA, USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive, develop, and lead projects in areas such as Data Platform (NetDL) Architecture and Performance, Capacity Planning, Autoscaling, Disaster Recovery, Observability, Change Management - CI/CD, Service Network Architecture, Cost Optimizations, and Application Security


• Join a globally distributed, "follow the sun model" on-call team


• Continuously improve operational processes by adding automation


• Lead sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or relevant experience


• 5+ years software engineering experience


• Experience with distributed database systems or scale out applications for a SaaS environment


• Proficiency in Python, Golang, and/or other languages


• Comfortable with Bash and/or other scripting languages
