DevOps Engineer

AminoChain is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing our infrastructure, automating processes, optimizing development workflows, and ensuring the smooth operation of our decentralized protocol infrastructure for healthcare applications.

We're developing the world’s first decentralized protocol infrastructure for healthcare applications, connecting hospitals, biobanks, and bio-pharma companies to unlock the full potential of donated biological samples.

• Design, implement, and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of our applications and services
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize development workflows and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure and applications
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance
• Implement and maintain system and application logging and monitoring systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement disaster recovery plans
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production issues
• Document and share knowledge of infrastructure and processes with team members

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excitement for blockchain, Web 3.0, and similar decentralized technologies.
• Be willing to go on-call.
• At least 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps or SRE and Software engineering background.
• Experience designing and implementing automation tools in one or more programming languages
• Experience with CI/CD. You know how to deploy your services reliably and have used tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins to achieve that.
• Experience with scripting and configuration management. You can write scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Experience with cloud hosting providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with distributed systems and container orchestration. You have maintained or even built Kubernetes clusters before and feel comfortable deploying complete new services on them or have familiarity with Docker
• Experience with Git-based version control systems that keep track of changes to code, configuration and enable collaboration
• Experience working in early-stage startups
