DevOps Software Architect – S&I (Services and Infrastructure)

Job Overview

We are seeking a collaborative DevOps professional to join our newly established Systems Centre of Competence (CoC) within TADY. As part of our Highly Integrated Systems (HIS) domain, you will help shape the future of Air Power systems. This is a remote work eligible engineering position that focuses on designing and maintaining secure Kubernetes clusters on-premise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure Kubernetes clusters on-premise using Docker and Linux containers


• Automate and streamline infrastructure using tools like Ansible and Terraform


• Manage code and configurations within local repositories and air-gapped environments


• Ensure robust performance across Linux and Windows operating systems


• Configure secure network connections and manage virtualised storage solutions


• Set up centralised logging and alerting systems to monitor infrastructure health


• Automate repetitive tasks using Python and Bash


• Collaborate with development and operations teams to provide sustainable solutions

Required Qualifications

• Technical background in engineering or equivalent practical experience in DevOps/Systems


• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters


• Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows administration


• Familiarity with network protocols and managing secure connections


• Comfortable working in secure, air-gapped environments


• Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork


• Full professional proficiency in English
