🎯 The Role

As a Tech Lead/Cloud Architect at PALO IT, you will architect and lead robust backend cloud solutions using Ruby & Ruby on Rails, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. You will lead engineering teams by fostering a collaborative environment, mentoring team members, and facilitating communication with stakeholders. You will oversee the integration of various APIs, including WhatsApp Cloud API and Conversions API, ensuring best practices and smooth workflows. You will manage cloud architecture on Google Cloud, leveraging Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration, and implementing best practices for security and networks. You will drive enterprise solutions focusing on high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust backend cloud solutions using Ruby & Ruby on Rails.
• Lead engineering teams by fostering a collaborative environment, mentoring team members, and facilitating communication with stakeholders.
• Oversee the integration of various APIs, including WhatsApp Cloud API and Conversions API.
• Manage cloud architecture on Google Cloud, leveraging Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Implement best practices for security and networks.
• Drive enterprise solutions focusing on high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies.

📌 Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in backend development with advanced proficiency in Ruby & Ruby on Rails.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Redis (caching, queues, in-memory storage), and Sidekiq (asynchronous processing).
• Proven experience designing REST APIs with documentation and best practices.
• Knowledge in cloud architecture (Google Cloud) and experience with Kubernetes (GKE) for deployment, orchestration, scaling, and optimization.
• Familiarity with Vertex AI, Gemini API, and agentic frameworks in AI (RAG, observability, evaluation, logs).
• Experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of enterprise solutions, including high availability, disaster recovery, and observability.

⭐ Desirable Experience

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• English language proficiency at a B2 level.
