Job Summary:
We are presently in search of a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing AWS cloud services, provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, and developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate should bring at least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, with adeptness in AWS services and tools, and a strong background in secure and scalable system management.
Responsibilities:
• Implement, manage, and maintain AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MSK, and IAM.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform following the best practices of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless and automatic deployment processes.
• Configure and manage security measures, including firewalls, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and establish protocols to protect systems' integrity and confidentiality.
• Design and implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of systems and applications.
• Respond to and resolve system outages or performance issues, providing timely and efficient troubleshooting solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve the infrastructure and operations continuously.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational best practices are incorporated into application development.
• Document operational procedures and systems architecture for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field is required.
• Strong experience with AWS services and tools such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MSK, and IAM.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management and provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, including firewall configurations and WAF.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain monitoring systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to provide quick resolutions to complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Availability and willingness to work within the Central Standard Time (CST) timezone.
