You will

• Customize and maintain the operating system for the main autonomous vehicle compute platform

• Develop profiling tools and optimize performance of autonomy software

• Maintain auxiliary compute systems for non-critical components

• Implement precise hardware time synchronization for different sensors on board

• Profile and optimize middleware for throughput and latency

• Design and implement network architecture for the autonomous vehicle

• Collaborate with DevOps and configure base OS for efficient software deployment

• Streamline bringup process for new tractor builds

• Evaluate and select next-generation compute platforms for autonomous vehicles

You have

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field

• Proficient in debian based linux distributions

• Proficient with schedulers, profilers, PTP/NTP and Networking

• C/C++, shell scripting, ROS/ROS2

We prefer

• MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field

• Experience with autonomous vehicle software stacks

• Realtime automotive OS - QNX, AUTOSAR
