DevOps Engineer

Description

Handle the implantation, deployment, migration, and integration of solutions on the cloud, ensuring successful delivery, high quality, and scalability of solutions.
Apply cloud computing best practices to deploy different workloads on the cloud.
Create automation scripts to deploy and manage applications and solutions on the cloud in all life cycle stages, practicing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DaaS, and GitOps best practices.
Participate with the Solution Architect team in the design activities for cloud solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor for the client in all aspects related to DevOps architecture implementation.
Contribute to the wider DevOps practice through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and collaboration.
Create, update, and maintain FORTE CLOUD knowledge base.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, focusing on multi-cloud environments.
At least 2x of public cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent understanding of Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools for release and deployment.
Strong experience in Windows & Linux administration, performance monitoring, and debugging.
Experience in server, and application-status monitoring using cloud native tools or 3rd party.
Working knowledge of different database engines.
Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery and other business continuity solutions.
Experience with open-source tools and platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of networking, security, and virtual hosting technologies.
