Are you a skilled cloud architect interested in leveraging your technical expertise to shape the future of AI? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your current projects or consulting roles?

We are seeking freelance cloud architects based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI systems.

What you’ll be doing

We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We partner with leading AI labs to drive improvement in large AI systems.

Your role is practical and high-impact. You will:

• Review and refine AI-generated responses and cloud architecture outputs

• Evaluate technical accuracy, scalability, security, and real-world applicability of architectural solutions

• Draft realistic architecture scenarios and cloud infrastructure challenges, including common industry use cases (e.g. multi-cloud designs, migration, security, scalability)

• Assess AI reasoning on cloud architecture principles such as infrastructure-as-code, automation, security compliance, and cost optimization

• Identify gaps, misinterpretations, or technical flaws in AI-generated architectural designs

• Create variations of scenarios from different stakeholder perspectives, such as architect, DevOps engineer, CTO, or compliance officer

In simple terms:
You will assess and improve AI-generated content to ensure it reflects real-world cloud architecture standards, practices, and reasoning. Your expertise will help scale and elevate the quality of AI systems handling cloud architecture topics.

Who this is for

You are:

• A cloud architect, solutions architect, or cloud engineering expert

• Based in the EU or UK

• With several years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)

• Experienced with modern cloud design patterns, automation, security, and scaling

• Comfortable identifying technical issues, unrealistic assumptions, or architectural flaws

• Available 8 to 20 hours per week

• Able to start in the coming weeks
